# Reminders for Upcoming Rotation

In case you want to receive reminders for upcoming rotation change / oncall handover, with Pagerly, you can set reminders.\
\
Pagerly would automatically detect the upcoming change in schedule, and would throw the notification of upcoming schedule on the Team's Channel configured in Pagerly\
\
You can set Reminders

* **6 Hours Before**
* **12 Hours Before**
* **1 Day Before**
* **Custom** - Use this if you want to setup reminders at a **fixed Time and Day of the Week**

### Setup Reminders in the following Steps

1\. Click "3 dots" to open the actions dropdown and select "Reminder".

2\. For setting up a custom reminder:

1. Set rotation frequency to "Custom".
2. Select the day of the week.
3. Select time of day.
4. Select timezone.
5. Set custom message (optional): 5.1 - Set message type 5.2 - Send message to ( channel, dm or both ) 5.3 - Add new channel ID to receive updates on ( leave blank to use the same team channel ) 5.4 - Set custom message using template.
6. Click "Save Reminder".
