Create Ticket via Slack Emoji and Follow on Slack Thread

This section would help you to create and transition tickets using Slack Emojis and follow with a deep 2-way sync on Slack Thread

For now , you need to install a separate app to allow Pagerly to read the emoji . i Install the Pagerly Emoji Ticket Slack App to your Workspace(link)

Step 1 :Go To Pagerly Slack App and Integrate Jira Account

Add Your JIRA Account

Step 2 . Go to Add Jira Team and Select Create Ticket via Slack Emoji and Follow on Slack Thread

Step 3. Go To Pagerly App Home (refresh it) and Go to Edit Jira Team

Step 4. Setup Emoji Config

Go to Add Config to select rules for creating ticket with respective to emoji

Step 5. In the config, input the emoji and ticket properties .
  • Emoji to create tickets -> When a message is reacted with this emoji, the ticket would be created

  • Issue Type (mandatory) -> Issue type of the ticket when being created

  • Priority (optional) -> Priority of the ticket when being created

  • Other fields -> Reach out to us in case you want additional fields for the rules here

Step 6. Click Submit. Go to Edit Team to add more rules

Step 7. Go to Any channel. Add Pagerly Emoji Ticket and Pagerly Apps to the channel.

React any message with emoji setup above.
