Post Ticket created on Jira to on Slack Channel

This section would help you to create a dedicated on Slack whenever a ticket is created at some state in jira. You can then follow a deep 2-way sync between Slack Channel and Jira Ticket

In case of Ticket Update, following fields would be detected and create/update the Slack Channel

  • Assignee

  • Status

  • Title

  • Description

  • Reporter

Step 1 :Go To Pagerly Slack App and Integrate Jira Account

Add Your JIRA Account

Step 2 . Go to Add Jira Team and Select Post Ticket created on Jira to Slack Channel

Step 3. Go To Pagerly App Home (refresh it) and Go to Edit Jira Team

Step 4. Setup Channel configs
  • Channel where you would get notification of a channel creation. It could be your internal team channeld.

  • Users who would be automatically added in Channels

Step 5. Click Submit.

Step 6. Go to the Jira Board. Create the ticket and see the dedicated channel created
