# Datadog

### Create an integration and generate the webhook

1\. Navigate to [https://workspace.pagerly.io/inbound](https://pagerly-git-feat-escalation-kritik-kapoors-projects.vercel.app/inbound)

2\. Click "Add Inbound Integration"

3\. 1. Set the display name for integration. 2. Select the team for this integration. 3. Select **"Datadog"** as Integration. 4. Click the "Add Integration" button.

4\. Datadog integrated successfully!

5\. To update the display name, click the edit (Pen) icon.

6\. Edit the Display Name, then click the tick icon to save your changes.

7\. Generated the **Pagerly** webhook for **"Datadog"** integration.

### Configure Datadog to create an incident

1\. Navigate to Integrations page -> <https://us5.datadoghq.com/integrations> 2. Install the **Webhooks** integration.

2\. Click "CONFIGURE"

3\. Click the **"New Webhook"** button.

4\. Copy the webhook URL for Datadog.

5\. 1. Add webhook display name. 2. Paste the above copied webhook URL here. 3. Set Auth method (optional). 4. Configure the Datadog payload that Pagerly would receive. 5. Save the configuration.

6\. You can use the below payload.

7\. Navigate to the **'Monitors'** tab.

8\. Select any template.

9\. Tag your newly created Pagerly webhook in the provided textarea.

10\. In the metadata section, you can set the priority

11\. Click "Test Notifications"

12\. Test Notifications:

1. Click "Test Notifications" at the bottom.
2. Click on "Run Test" and verify if the webhook is working correctly.

13\. Finally click "Create and Publish".
