# Configure Hub & Source Channels

Set up a Hub Channel where aggregated conversations land, and define the list of monitored Source Channels.

### ⚙️ Step-by-Step Configuration

1. In Pagerly Dashboard, navigate to **Unified Messages** (`/unified-messages`).
2. Select your **Team** from the team dropdown selector.
3. Enter the **Hub Channel Name** (e.g. `#hub-platform-alerts` or `#oncall-triage`).
4. Enter the **Source Channel Names** separated by commas (e.g. `#prod-incidents, #api-alerts, #help-backend`).
5. Toggle the **Enable Unified Messages** switch to **ON**.
6. Click **Save Configuration**.

### 💡 Best Practices

* **Dedicated Hub Channel**: Use a dedicated, public or private channel as your Hub to keep triage organized.
* **Pagerly Bot Permissions**: Ensure the Pagerly Slack Bot is added to both the Hub Channel and all specified Source Channels.
