2-Way Reply Thread Sync

How 2-way thread reply synchronization works in Unified Messages.

With 2-Way Reply Sync, team members can reply directly in the Hub Channel, and Pagerly automatically mirrors their reply back to the original message's thread in the source channel under their user profile.

🔄 How It Works

1. A message in #prod-alerts matches a filter and appears in #hub-triage.

2. An engineer replies in #hub-triage to assist.

3. Pagerly's OAuth integration syncs the reply back to the original thread in #prod-alerts.

4. Other responders in #prod-alerts see the reply seamlessly in real-time.

🔑 Connecting User OAuth for Reply Sync

For replies to be posted under your own Slack profile:

1. In Pagerly Dashboard, open Unified Messages (/unified-messages).

2. Click Connect Slack User OAuth.

3. Authorize Pagerly to post replies on your behalf in Slack.

4. Your Slack account will show as Connected with a green checkmark (User OAuth Active).
