Post Ticket created on Jira to Slack Thread

This section would help you to create threads on Slack whenever a ticket is created at some state in jira. You can then follow a deep 2-way sync between Slack Thread and Jira Ticket

In case of Ticket Update, following fields would be detected and create/update the Slack Thread

  • Assignee

  • Status

  • Title

  • Description

  • Reporter

Post Ticket Created on Jira to Slack Thread

  1. Navigate to Pagerly Jira Integration

  2. Click "Add Jira Team"

  3. Select:

    • Jira board/project

    • Team name

    • "Post Ticket created on Jira to Slack Thread"

    • Click "Next"

  4. Set:

    • Slack channel to get/manage Jira tickets

    • (Optional) Slack channel for update notifications

    • Click "Add Team"

  5. ✅ Team created successfully
