Create Ticket via Slack Emoji and Follow on Slack Thread

This section would help you to create and transition tickets using Slack Emojis and follow with a deep 2-way sync on Slack Thread

For now , you need to install a separate app to allow Pagerly to read the emoji . i Install the Pagerly Emoji Ticket Slack App to your Workspace(link)

  1. Navigate to Pagerly Jira Integration

  2. Click "Add Jira Team"

  3. Select:

    • Jira board/project

    • Team name

    • "Create Ticket via Slack Emoji and Follow on Slack Thread"

    • Click "Next"

  4. Configure:

    • Emoji config

    • Default issue type

    • (Optional) Priority

    • Click "Add Team"

  5. ✅ Emoji-based Jira team created successfully
