# GitHub

## Overview

GitHub is primarily a software development platform that can also be used for issue tracking and project management. Pagerly integrates with GitHub to connect your incident management workflow with your development process.

## Key Features

* **Issue Creation** — Automatically create GitHub issues when incidents are triggered
* **Repository Linking** — Link incidents to specific repositories and codebases
* **Pull Request Tracking** — Track fixes and patches related to incidents
* **Deployment Correlation** — Correlate incidents with recent deployments and commits
* **Action Items** — Create GitHub issues for incident follow-up action items

## Setup

To configure GitHub with Pagerly Incidence Response:

1. Navigate to your Pagerly workspace settings
2. Go to **Integrations** → **GitHub**
3. Authorize Pagerly to access your GitHub organization
4. Configure repository and issue label mappings
